As a former police officer and Navy SEAL, I understand the need for the best protective gear available. The Going Ballistic project, a non-profit organization, fulfills a need in local law enforcement for protective ballistic shields that may be beyond fiscal possibilities for smaller or more rural police agencies. I've personally known the people involved with this project for years and I believe they will ensure success through their endeavors to help protect those who protect us all.
